Rain pulled the chocolate and the peanut-butter chips out of her bag and then began hunting around for a mixing bowl, a spoon and a cookie sheet. The kitchen was quite well-organized from what she could tell, and she found what she needed in short order. Eggs, flour, sugar and oil should be easy to round up, too. Baking kind of made her feel at home, in a way. It was familiar.
"I am pretty good," Rain said with a smile. She was nothing if not confident in her abilities. She had baking knocked, next she'd work some more on main dishes. She emerged from the direction of the refrigerator with eggs, two of which she cracked into the mixing bowl. "Yeah?" she asked. "Unusual stuff like what?" It'd be interesting to know what a fae found to be unusual food-wise.
"Easton replied on my journal," she said as she stirred. "He seemed nice. None of those other guys did. I've talked to, um..." She furrowed her brow. "...River and Vinnie and Starbuck on the journals." She thought having a journal system was awesome. So many ways to connect with people!
