Kissy never gently coaxed people along. It was more of a shout-out, a loud call-to-arms! "It's short for awesome!" She said immediately, putting a lot of feeling into it. After spending time at home she was totally feeling her whole vibe again in that really positive, real self-esteem way. First times away from home were always rough, but surprisingly, Kissy still had some surprises left in her as far as coping and dealing with life. or whatever. it was totally the advice columns in cosmo that got her by.
"Nah, I'm kiddin'. But oh! I totally need to hit the kitchen, I am so rusty!" And Kissy liked cookies, although she was certainly going to try to fool with the recipe to make them more flavorful. She had gourmet tastes and was often pretty ambitious with her own cooking. It didn't always work out very well, but sometimes she hit gold. The attention to detail and patience for a chef wasn't there, but she'd always be an appreciator of finer food.
"But, yeah, no, it's totally Nichelle, but everyone calls me Kissy since I was little cuz I taste so good." Hell, Rain was probably getting little tastes of her now when she was walking close enough. Although, if she were being honest, a lot of it had to do with her demanding them because people gave her presents and affection. Then she sort of reclaimed it in high school as a badge of honor. Yeah, she was Kissy and sugar sweet tasty good. Jealous?
"Did you just get here? This totally my second semestah." There was that Boston twang coming through. It was so nice having another nice neighbor. Kissy fell into step with her like she knew her for awhile. Like she could be wedged between Jaceinthe and Xiomara at Camby and things would be cool.
