Week Nineteen: Thursday, August 9th
Who: Charlie and Sydni
When: Thursday night
Where: Starting at school, heading to the Isle of Bacalao Hotel eventually
Charlie had to admit, he was feeling pretty down as he got cleaned up and prepared to meet Sydni. This would be the last time he saw her for a while. He refused to think of it as the last time ever. Sure, it was a possibility, promised visits didn't always become a reality. But he was convinced he and Sydni would keep in touch, and he was sure she'd visit him when her schedule allowed it. The biggest challenge to her visiting was going to be the tension between her and Davia, though maybe that would ease with a bit of distance. He hoped so.
It was dark out, and Charlie was dressed, but he needed to take Cassius out for a walk before meeting up with Sydni, then he'd drop the pup off with a non-light-sensitive friend for the evening. Yeah, Charlie and Sydni would have to return to the school before dawn, so it wasn't like Cassius would be locked up for a cruel period of time, but he still liked to provide the pup with company.
With Cassius in good hands, Charlie ran back to his room to get everything he needed for the night, which was basically just his wallet, cell, and keys. He'd either sleep naked (like normal) or in his boxers if Syd preferred. Charlie had no idea what to expect from their evening together, especially since he figured she was upset about him leaving. He didn't know what to expect of himself either, knowing that Sydni wasn't one for casual sex, and not feeling entirely comfortable trying to convince her otherwise. Something told Charlie he probably could, but would that be taking advantage? He wasn't sure.
With a sigh, he made his way outside and toward his bike, where he planned to meet Sydni. She wasn't there yet, but he went ahead and uncovered the motorcycle and got the helmets out. He also briefly checked his appearance in one of the bike's side mirrors. He'd kept it casual and fashionable as always... rugged jeans that hugged his lean frame nicely, paired with a button up black shirt. The typical flare was in place as well... a cool belt buckle, his favorite boots, and of course his leather jacket.
