Dear Gyeongsang Anon,

Annyeong! My name is Yuri Kang. You probably already know me, but I'm sad that I don't know you. I'm sad that you find there to be a reason to make posts about some people who are my friends, good people like Panda Junnie-Oppa, Watermelon Daekwan-Oppa, Angel Suwonnie-Oppa and Snickerdoodle Mina-Eonni. I find it sad that you want to hurt these people's feelings. Did someone hurt your feelings, Gyeongsang Anon? I really hope not, but if your feelings are hurt, I wish you would talk about it. I wish you would help those people whose feelings get hurt too, so that you can heal along with them.

When I was a little girl, my parents died. I was very sad for a long time, but my Oppa took care of me. And Panda took care of us too. His little brother is my bestie. For a while, I was angry too. I wondered, why of all people in the world did this have to happen to my parents? I wanted others to feel like me -- sad and alone and afraid. I hated feeling like I couldn't control anything in life. If my parents could be taken away from me so easily, as easy as turning off a light, what else could be taken away from me just like that?

I was angry and scared. I threw tantrums and made my family members upset with me. It wasn't right, but it was what I needed to do to feel something. Anything. But I got better. Everything always gets better. So.... Gyeongsang Anon.... please, if you feel like you need to do this to make yourself feel better, I hope that you find resolution to your conflicting feelings soon. I hope you stop hurting my friends, not just because they are in pain, but because hurting them will never make you feel any better.

You are not alone. My Oppa says this to me a lot. And he's right.
