Sophia quickly grew an inclination in irritating the little one. It was fun to see that frustrated expression, her defensive tone. Some might call her sadistic but this urge did not come for everyone. Alex was extra special.
She didn't answer her, but kept the journey to the beach as short and silent as possible. Those few minutes of quiet was worth it when they finally landed by the shoreline though. "It's different at night. I don't know, there's just something extra special to it at this hour..."
After a quick decision, Sophie shrugged off her boots and headed towards the shore. "Follow me." she encouraged, shouting behind her and not stopping until her feet splashed water.
