WHO: Alexandra Backler and Macayla Cremin WHAT: Alex is feeling bold…hopefully she won't chicken out! WHERE: Starting in Alex's room, where she is sending Macayla enchanted notes. WHEN: Tuesday, April 20th, 2010. 4pm RATING: PG STATUS: In progress.
Alex had written and rewritten a note to Macayla so many times that crumpled parchment littered the floor at her feet. It had taken all the nerve she could muster to fold up the only piece of parchment she hadn't crumpled up into an origami bird with her message concealed inside.
She had enchanted the message with a hex that she was able to perform only because she had found a hair of Macayla's on her cloak after they had studied the day they had knocked each other over in the hall.
The hex would only allow Macayla to read the note. It anyone else even touched it, the parchment would burst into a tiny ball of blame that would burn the person's fingers. It was dark magic, though very tame by the standards of such. If she got caught, she would get detention for sure though. But, it was worth it to Alex.
The message, after Macayla read it, would disappear into harmless smoke a few minutes after she unfolded it. Alex didn't want to leave and evidence of what she had asked…
It would have been easier to write a note to Macayla in their journals but, in her paranoia, she just couldn't bring herself to do it that way. She felt like people had a better chance of finding out that way.
Using her wand, she cast a charm to bring the origami parchment into motion. "Macayla Cremin," Alex announced in a clear voice. The little parchment bird flew away in search of its designated recipient.
Inside the note read:
Macayla,
I wanted to tell you I had a lot of fun spending time with you a couple of weeks ago. I had meant to write you sooner but things have been very busy with me and I wanted to assure I could find time to spend with you.
Would you like to go on a date with me?
I thought that we could go down to the beach and maybe grab a bite to eat? Maybe walk on the beach after that?
I hope that I haven't been too forward.
-Alex
Once the note flew away, Alex fight light headed. Her heart was pounding and she thought she might feint. She felt like this was the only way she could manage to ask her but the waiting was going to be murder!
Sitting at her desk, she put in the earbuds to her iPod and listened to some music as a distraction that didn't offer as much distraction as she would have hoped…

WHO: Emma Henderson and Alyssa Robin WHAT: Emma lost the big bet. WHERE: Caddison WHEN: Tuesday 3pm. 4/13/2010 WHY: Emma has to pay up, she lost! RATING: R STATUS: In progress
Emma was so nervous. It had started to build earlier in the day and was nearly crippling at this point. She knew she couldn't back out of the bet. Ally had offered her a way out but everyone else had seen their little discussion in their journals and she wouldn't live it down if she didn't make good on her bet…
Having gotten out of the hospital the night before, Emma figured she had an excuse to delay. However, delaying had made it just that much worse. She had barely slept at all! Plus…there was her whole crush on Ally.
She had enjoyed flirting with her but she didn't have much more idea than she'd had before she went to see her at the Quidditch pitch as to whether Ally actually liked her too or not.
After class, Emma went back to her dorm. Stripping out of her uniform, she donned her big, fluffy robe that she wore to Water Activities. Normally she wore a bathing suit but not this time!
People seeing her walking the halls would just assume that she was headed to the pool. What would they do if they knew she was naked as a jay bird underneath?!
Making her way to Caddison, she moved to the door and waited. "Hey," she called to a third year. "Can you tell Ally that Emma is out here to see her?" The third year nodded and went inside to search for Ally. When she found her, she quickly passed along the message and trotted off.
Nervously, Emma waited for Ally to come out while leaning against the wall.

WHO: Emma Henderson and Alyssa Robin WHAT: Emma has been thinking about Alyssa…a lot. WHERE: The Quidditch Pitch WHEN: Tuesday 5pm. 4/6/2010 WHY: Emma wants to see Alyssa in person to see if she actually crushes on her in person. RATING: PG STATUS: Completed.
Emma had been pretty distracted the last few days. She'd loved bantering back and forth with Alyssa in her journal. It had been fun and flirty and exciting and it made her a little nervous but in a good way and it was…well…fun!
She had planned to wait until after the, now much anticipated, Caddison/Oakley Quidditch match to see Alyssa. Settling the bet was the perfect excuse to see her, after all! However, that proved to be…impossible. She'd been daydreaming in class before finally deciding that she needed to try and see Alyssa.
Tuesday was the day that the pitch was free. She'd overheard Alyssa saying something about practicing later as she walked by her in the halls so Emma decided she was going to get in a little extra practice too!
Emma made her way down to the pitch with her broom over her shoulder. Knowing she wasn't going to be doing anything too strenuous, Alyssa didn't bother with her robes or pads. She had picked out a pair of football shorts that were a metallic red with a plain white babydoll t-shirt that was a little too sheer to completely hide the evidence of her red sports bra underneath. She picked trainers over her leather Quidditch boots.
Hoping Alyssa was actually there, she got to the pitch and looked around. Emma wore a huge grin and loved the nervous excitement building inside her at the thought of spending time with Alyssa.
She tried not to worry that she might have mistakenly taken what Alyssa was doing as flirting. After all, Emma had been flirting and Alyssa seemed to respond quite positively! Pushing the thoughts away, she lowered her broom off her shoulder to carry it at her side instead.

WHO: Alexandra Backler and Aldis Talbot WHAT: Alex makes a rash decision and decides she needs to see Aldis. WHERE: Caddison Girl’s Dorm, Aldis’s room WHEN: Friday, April 2nd, 2010. 6:03pm. RATING: PG STATUS: Incomplete
Alex couldn’t believe that she was about to do…what she was going to do! She came to Aldis’s dorm room door and stopped. Raising her hand, she went to knock but couldn’t bring herself to do it.
Blowing a breath up, Alex pushed a lock of hair from her eyes that had fallen in it. “I should have…gotten dressed up or changed or did my hair,” she mumbled as she paced in front of the door.
She sighed in exasperation again. Looking down at her uniform, Alex smoothed it out and tucked her shirt back in. She thought about just leaving. She was going down to dinner when she saw Aldis’s roommate without Aldis and made a very rash decision.
“Everyone’s at dinner,” Alex muttered softly as she paced, trying to ease her anxiety. “Maybe I just didn’t see Aldis and she was there already? Maybe she isn’t even here?” She couldn’t barely even distinguish her own words she was muttering so softly.
Plus, it was Friday. It was possible that Aldis’s roommate wouldn’t even come back from dinner. That would be ideal…
Reaching up, she played with her hair nervously. Should Alex put it down? It was in a half ponytail at the moment; a rather messy one. Should she put it all the way up?
Not one to be spontaneous, Alex couldn’t believe that she was even at Aldis’s door. Alex was ready to believe when she heard a knock. Looking at the door, she was shocked to see her hand was up at the wood.
Blinking, Alex waited nervously to see if Aldis was going to answer. Maybe she wouldn’t be there?

WHO: Alexandra Backler and Lara Rosbey WHAT: The Head Girl wants to see Alexandra. Yikes! WHERE: Prefect Meeting Room, near the Library. WHEN: March 25th, 2010. 3:45pm RATING: PG STATUS: Complete
Alexandra was on pins and needles all day. She had been getting ready for breakfast when an owl had tapped at her window with its beak. Assuming it was for Reagan, being far more popular than she was, Alex went to retrieve it only to discover that the note was for her.
It was from Lara Roseby, the Head Girl! Alex read the note with trembling finger. She wanted to see her that day at four! She mind began to reel with what things she possibly could have done wrong that she earned a meeting with the Head Girl?
She spend all day wondering about that. She had been distracted in class, even getting admonished for it by Professor Martin during Care of Magical Creatures, which was a rare thing.
Even after almost feeding her finger to a Thestral along with the meat she had held out to the colt, Alex still couldn't keep her mind off the impending meeting. Did someone see her and Aldis? Liaisons were against the rules. That thought made her stomach churn nervously.
Had someone see her out at the beach with Sophia? Had the Vemba girl tattled on her or offered her up when she got in trouble for something else? That seemed possible…
After class, Alexandra immediately went back to her room. Taking out the iron, she pressed a fresh uniform and freshened up before the meeting. Using Muggle and magical means, her uniform was immaculate by the time she left for the meeting. Her hair was down over her shoulders and shined as it swayed. Her Prefect badge gleamed on her lapel.
She arrived a full fifteen minutes early and knocked on the door. Her heart was hammering as she waited for a reply that never came. Alexandra checked her watch to assure that she was, in fact, early.
Not wanting to go in without Lara there, Alex stood demurely against the wall. Her mouth was dry and her palms were sweaty as she nervously awaited the Head Girl. What could she have done?!
