Jack was moving to remove the boy's shoes when he passed Eric's new line of sight. Eric gasped and looked back up at Jack. Then he pressed back away from everyone. He had heard stories about strange experiments, but a pregnant man? Or was this man odd like him and that's why they were here? Was it all some trick, some joke he didn't understand? He didn't want to be experimented on again.
He sat up in order to try standing up. "I'm fine. Healthy. good." He said in broken German. "Not strange, not sick. Can work." Then he added. "Sir." He was sitting up but he coulnd't get the energy to stand. This couch was more comfort than he could ever remember in his entire life. He wanted to just lay down and rest but knew he couldn't. Not when they were asking him if he was well.
Dismayed and fearful, the metal in the room shuddered. Then he was attacked by another harsh round of coughing that he couldn't stop. Things stopped moving. His strength fled again and he ended up leaning against Gray. His blue eyes were glassy as he looked up at the man. "I can work. Work good." he practically begged in German.
Harkness could understand some of what the boy was saying. He had no idea what had set the kid off though. Was it the question Gray had asked? What had he asked? And then things started moving and Jack looked at the kid in shock. He had done that. He had to have. A telekenetic? It was short lived whatever it was.
Jack backed up, then looked at Meredith. "Can you tell what's bothering him?" Sure looking into a mind was an invasion of privacy but this kid couldn't handle much more stress and Jack doubted he would just come out and explain himself.
