"What's this?" David asked, finding Hilary in his office, licking a bit of cream off her fingers. Next to her, a gingerbread house sat on his desk.
"Isn't it lovely? The network sent it over. Look, there I am," Hilary said, pointing to a girl-shaped ginger cookie. "And there's the couple I've just helped by renovating their adorable little home, and there's this precious 'Love it or List it' sign in the middle of their garden--isn't it marvelous?"
"But... where am I?"
Hilary's lips spread to a smile, which could only be described as wolfish.
"You, David, were delicious."
