Mischievous Mistletoe
Harry arrived back at their shared flat to find Draco, wand flexed in his hand, in the midst of what looked like an explosion of Christmas. Boxes lay open around his feet and he was levitating ornaments out of one, directing them to hang on a large Christmas tree dominating the corner of the room. It looked like a bit of mistletoe had escaped its placement though, and it hovered, flitting this way and that, but never leaving the small area over Draco’s head.
Harry smiled, stepped forward, grabbed Draco’s arm to turn him around and ignored Draco’s startled “What-” as he leaned in to kiss him.
Draco’s lips softened under Harry’s, and Harry closed his eyes and deepened the kiss, slipping his tongue into Draco’s mouth to taste him. Arms came up around Harry’s neck and a burst of butterscotch met his tongue. Harry chased after the taste, finding a small ball of candy and coaxing it back into his own mouth.
He pulled back with a grin and sucked on his Draco-flavoured butterscotch.
“You stole my candy.” Draco’s lips turned to a pout and Harry laughed.
“The mistletoe made me.” Harry looked up and the mistletoe flew back to a doorway, twirling before settling in place. His eyes fell back to Draco, who was still pouting, but his eyes were soft and gleamed under the twinkling lights in the flat. Harry slid his arms around Draco’s waist and tugged him closer, leaning over to gently rub their noses together. “Guess you’ll just have to steal it back.”
