snegurochka_lee's Least Favorite Character/Pairing Drabble/Drawble and Ficlet Challenge. ~~Though technically this isn't my least favorite pairing, ever, but it is one that I never write.~~ No one looked over this before posting, so please forgive and point out any typos or errors.

Detention, Potter

"Evening, Potter. Late again, I see."

His voice was buttery silk caressing Harry's cheeks, his throat, his lips. Harry was tempted to slip his tongue out for a taste; surely Severus' words had flavoured the very air he breathed, but there was an edge beneath the surface that held Harry in check, thrilling and frightening all at once.

Intoxicating.

Even more intoxicating than the coil of leather resting in Severus' palm.

Severus slid his fingers along the handle as if stroking a favoured pet. "Perhaps it's time for another lesson."

The dungeon door clicked shut behind him and Harry smiled.

As a Snarry fan I can honestly say - Yum! Very nice indeed.

It's been a really fun exercise writing pairings we don't like, I think. Because most of us can do it, we just don't want to.

Oooh, I like that very much! I like the ambiguity: it could be just a regular detention, and Snape likes to use a strap sometimes. Heh, JKR had Harry carving his own hand bloody in detention in canon, so anything's possible! But ship-wise, oh yes, I do like the insinuation that it's much more than that, too, and that they do this rather a lot. Mmmmmmf.

Not my favourite pairing, either, but when I do read Snarry, I have a giant soft spot for detention or Occlumency-lesson stuff, with Snape as disciplinarian, so this was perfect for me! Thanks for playing! :)

Yay, thanks! It was a ton of fun to write even though mainly Snape scares me and obviously this isn't my ship and right after I finished it, I was like, I bet detention fics are a huge plot trope in this pairing! *facepalm* but I'm glad you liked it! :D

I'm looking forward to the masterlist--can't wait to see what everyone came up with!

Hey, there's a reason things become plot tropes: because they work! As a longtime Snarry lover, I really liked this drabble, esp. its ambiguity. Nice!

I like the ambiguity and the descriptions you gave.

I'm thinking nasty s/m bondage type events, while someone could be thinking...something more wholesome. ;d

Nice! This is my least favorite pairing too, and it is fun to read other people trying it out for a drabble as well! This was great, full of atmosphere and anticipation. Loved the whip petting! :D
