Persephone tensed slightly at the name, its sound provoking memories. Golden hair. 'Kore!' Running in the fields. 'Kore!' Being held tightly. 'Kore' Being doted on. 'Kore!' Then, a change. 'My name is Persephone.' Still, she blinked it away, continuing unfazed, with only a slight pause.
"They were very good!" she enthused, unable to keep from chuckling as Orpheus barked, clearly wanting attention, as well. "I just -- it's so much work. I really don't know how you handle it," she said. "One dog is a lot, but all of them? Wow. They were very well behaved; I couldn't have asked for more, but it was a little bit of a challenge. Even more challenging than one dog with three heads." And that was true, the comment escaping her before she could mortally think twice on it.
"Can I get you something to drink? Are you hungry?" she asked.
