The dogs had started barking long before Hecate had knocked on the door, all four of the rather large canines heading toward the door, seemingly racing as they went, stalky Orpheus half-sliding as he tried to keep up with Hecate's larger girls.
Persephone, clad in a navy skinny-fit Oxford tee shirt and khaki shorts observed the action with a chuckle. The dogs had, truly, been more well behaved than she could have imagined, though it had been a lot of work. A lot, lot of work. She really had no idea how Hecate could manage all three at the same time for extended periods of time. Orpheus, by himself, was typically a handful, though he'd conformed, adapted, and cooperated when she needed. She grinned broadly, approaching the door and opening it. "Hecate!" she said, throwing her arms around her friend and hugging her tightly.
