She listened as he described the club pursuit, nodding. His last comment made her chuckle. "I know the feeling. I left my family behind in Suffolk and Bristol," she said. "It's a nice feeling -- for me, at least -- so liberating, like being free to spread your wings." That was the best way she could describe it, really.
