An honest feather tickling at your fate...
Victoria pulled off her sunglasses as she walked up to the Magma Corporation's headquarters in Athens. She brushed a hand through her chocolate locks quickly, brushing them aside as she stood on the pavement for a moment. She evened out her clothes; jeans, heels, red blouse. Her typical working attire.
She had never in her life done anything like this before. Meeting completely random people on a whim just was not what she was used to at all. However, something about it intrigued her as she made a move to step inside the building to look around. She unfastened her media clip from her blouse quickly, pinning it to her purse. She had just finished meeting up with her latest story.
Walking to the reception desk, she offered the secretary a soft smile, laying her purse on the counter for a moment.
"Hello. I'm actually here because I have an appointment with Damien. He told me that he would inform you that I was coming."
The receptionist smiled, handing her a clipboard. "Write your name down, please. Are you here to interview him? He is currently in a meeting."
Victoria looked at her for a moment and realized that she was looking at the information clip on her purse. "Oh, no. I actually just finished work for the afternoon. I'm here for personal reasons."
The secretary seemed to smirk to herself, her own private joke. Victoria rolled her eyes. Not that kind of personal reason.
"Well, have a seat. I will let him know that you're here."
Victoria nodded and smiled, irritated for a moment before moving to take a seat in the elaborate waiting room. It was lined with think cushioned seats that looked rather inviting. She looked at the orchids that rested in one of the vases on the tables. Taking a seat by it, she pulled out her notepad, figuring that she might as well work while she waited. She fiddled with her gold necklace for a moment, wondering how long the wait may be.
