The blonde woman inched her way around the booth until she was sitting just beside Anne, still smiling her wan, soft smile. Fingers brushed along her neck through the dark curls in a gesture that hopefully soothed them both. "I miss the butterflies, too," Chloe sighed. She missed it all, the fields and flowers but mostly, being a mother. Having someone to hold and coo over. To protect and love in a way no other relationship could touch - something she'd not experienced in this lifetime. "Missed you more, though and I didn't even know I did. Didn't know it was you in my dreams; I thought the dark-eyed baby was my brain's way of coping with a miscarriage but as soon as I saw you, I knew. That's why I was so out of sorts when we met."
