"Ah, I see." She smiled and felt relief at the notion that Chloe would be around for sometime longer, and at her prodding had a grape, as well, unable to suppress a chuckle at the nose-wrinkling. "No, no," she said. "No marriages or children. Not in this life," she added, before a second thought on it. The words made her think of more, however, thoughts she had been trying to put aside since they'd arranged this meeting.
