The smaller woman drank in the details of Anne's life as easily as she did the wine. She felt a small pang in her heart when the brunette talked about her parent's divorce - something she realized had to do more with their pasts than simple empathy - but another smile blossomed when the mention of the garden was sounded. "Oh, I'd love to see it!" Chloe bubbled, leaning forward to cross her hands on the table then begin to think how to start her own tale. "Born and raised on a farm in Texas. I handled most of the growing; vegetables and the likes but I also took care of a few of the horses. Mama, Daddy, two older brothers and a little sister, all of whom are still back in Anderson. "We were married for three years before realizing it was more a game of house than an actual marriage and parted on friendly terms - he still owns stock in my company, Chloe's Kitchen, Inc. and his brother is my personal assistant."
She paused to take another sip of her wine, steeling her nerves for the next part: the personal stuff Chloe didn't care to share with many people. "Met my second husband at a restaurant opening and got married about six months later. Crazy, I know," she said. "But I loved him, or thought I did at the time. There was more to the story: his cheating, namely on the night she miscarried their child, but the blonde thought that a little heavy to include in a quick run down of 'getting to know you' chatter. "Still working out of LA and I love it and I'm here to try and get some ideas to bring back home for my spas and restaurants as well as possibly scoping out a place or two here for expansion."
