"Oh, the shopping here is wonderful. The handmade crafts and antiques especially. I'm bringing a lot of those home with me," Chloe bubbled. Shopping was one of her favorite pastimes. And the shopping here had been fantastic, even with the bumping into different people. Sometimes, quite literally. Her thoughts were turning back to Anne; she'd have to call her soon, but Chloe'd escaped her meetings to put some distance between herself and all the chaos which included all the journal nonsense.
The joyous laugh became a truly amused cackle. The rodeo? With her stature, one fall and she'd be done! "Oh no, Sugar. I wasn't in the rodeo. I do know how to ride though if that's what you're asking. Grew up around horses my whole life but I did a lot of gardening, too. That's how I got started: a little roadside stand, selling vegetables that hadn't been treated with any kinda chemicals." And it had served her well so far in life. Living off the land, promoting green living had given her plenty of green in return. "I still own a couple of horses, though. One or two for riding but most of them are for show, racing or breeding."
