"It was nice," Chloe answered, brushing back a lock of wind-blown blonde hair from her face. "Lots of animals and I did a lot of gardening and planting but it staying there wasn't going to get me where I needed to be so..." The little woman shrugged and flashing him a dazzling smile. "Please don't call me 'mam.' I'm old enough as it is without having to feel it. Chloe's fine."
The mention of lunch and his offer to pay made her smile only bloom brighter. Oh, he was a darling. "That sounds wonderful but no offense, Sugar, I can certainly pay for myself." And him. And probably half the park. Especially if they ended up at one of Mr. P's establishments... but based on the boy's appearance and occupation, the petite woman strongly doubted they would be dining in high-end restaurants such as the ones she was looking into purchasing. "A little company would be great, though." Chloe stood, brushed off her pants then motioned in the direction of the duck-cluttered path that would lead out of the park. "Lead the way."
