Indeed music did play, swirling in song through out the park. It carried past her hears, merrily jumping in tune. If Chloe happened to gaze further into the park, she'd see siting within the deep green grass,a boy with a flute to his lips. The boy was down on the ground within the thickest part of the lawn with his head bobbing to and fro with the music as people passed by. In front of the boy, was an opened flute case. A place for music offerings. Inside one could a few bucks here and there. And some change of course. He was alone at the moment playing, without the trio of performers that always gathered with him at night to play. He'd join them later of course. At day time, each man made his own way to look for money. And the secluded parks just so happened to be his favorite.
Jack smiled at a particularly pretty Greek girl as she passed him along. Oh how he loved the Greek women. In return she tossed a bit of change for her listening pleasure. The parks always seemed to pull in good money. There just seemed to be something about music in the wild that really got people going. Or maybe it was just him? He couldn't deny it. Every thing always felt greener when he traveled around outside. Maybe that was what brought him here so much. Faster and fast, his head moved side to side, playing the upbeat jingle along. The flute was a speedy little instrument as it is, but even faster it seemed when it touched his lips. Wind instruments just resonated with him. One had to be skilled and fast to handle them. Unlike those damn string instruments, like the violin, or guitar, or even the Greek lyre- which took no talent at all to play. He couldn't stand them.
Seeing a blond head further down the path, Jack Grayson quickly started into a new song. What a way to make his bread and butter.
