Malachi smirked. "Women tell us arrogance is sexy, so we go with it. It's just a habit even after you find the love of your life," he said with a shrug. He shook his head. "No, you shouldn't. It just makes me impulsive and a risk-taker. It's not something really to aspire to me. A challenge is great once in awhile, but after awhile, they can be tedious and more stressful than worth it. At least to me. Sometimes, it's just better to allow things to come easily and have an easy answer." He paused. "What makes you happy, Astoria? I mean, don't give me some bullshit answer of shoes or going to parties. What makes you really happy?"
He laughed. "It's a lot more dangerous than you single people think. There's a lot more danger in getting hurt when you actually care," he said, teasing but there was truth to his words. He shook his head. "No, sorry, you're stuck now. You back out of dinner then I will be sad and you don't want to make me sad."
