Malachi grinned at her. "Well you do choose were you live so I'd hope so, but there's plenty of people who feel stuck in places they don't really like," he said with a smile. "Spoken like a true woman," he said with a smirk. Pushing back from the table, he gestured down at his shoes. "Do they throw off my outfit?" he asked with a teasingly grin. He wasn't really interested in finding out, but it was fun to tease her in a friendly way. He shrugged. "Honestly?" he asked, "No, I haven't thought about it for a long time. There was a time that I would have laughed at the idea completely. But it just seems right now. Things have changed. I've changed, I guess. It's not like it's a bad career or anything." He gave her a smile in return, showing that he wasn't offended and appreciated her support. "I'm not giving up on art completely. Trust me, I don't think I could if I tried. Not only would the people in my life kick my ass, but it's part of who I am." He grinned at her. "You're just taking your time to fine the right one," he said encouragingly.
He smiled. "Well, when you see Lavender just tell her all I do is say good things otherwise I might get in trouble," he said, jokingly. "Then you should come over for dinner sometime? If you can fit it in your busy schedule?" He smiled, clearly meaning the invitation. He liked Astoria and as far as he knew Lavender had no problem with her. If Lavender was allowed her friends and to have them over, so was he. He laughed. "Yeah, you're just a great actress that we can't believe it. One day, though you'll turn around and backstab us all and make us all wonder why we believed you were a good person to begin with." He grinned at her.
