Malachi smiled and nodded. "Find anywhere interesting to roam to? In? Around?" He laughed a little at himself, confused of how to word it. He grinned. "Like any true woman," he said, not meaning to be sexist. "They love to shop and always find things to buy. It's a gift, really. I mean, how many pairs of shoes does one woman need?" He nudged her, showing he was kidding around. "Well, I'm sure you're better at potion brewing than I am. I can't brew a potion for the life of me, really. Maybe that's what makes me a bad wizard. At least my career as an Auror doesn't demand potion skills." He laughed. "Ever try your hand at art? Maybe you can come to a class or two I teach still? It's fun. You can express yourself. I'd suggest you being a model, but I'm sure you'd slap me and Lavender would want to kill me so a student would work."
He shrugged. "If she doesn't get confused, it's okay for me. I don't mind the name Alex either. My mother's name was Alexandria. Lavender suggested Alex in memory of my mum," he explained with a smile. He liked telling people that Lavender can came up with the idea of their daughter's middle name being after this mother, knowing how much his mother still meant to him even when she was dead. There was a part of him that was sad that his mother never got to meet Lavender or the kids. They'd never know her other than the stories he told to them and he was planning to tell a lot. He laughed. "Or he'd be too busy being a boy chasing after the girls to notice or care. My sister didn't notice when I start hooking up with people at Hogwarts. Different houses, different years... a lot of things can go unnoticed." He grinned. "Yeah, my family would be worth a heart attack and an early death. Just come to my funeral and make a beautiful speech for me. Lie if you have to," he teased with a smile. He nodded. "I am a very lucky man and I actually know that."
