He had a certain amount of precedent in the divination circles but he was hardly at her level. Diane didn't have to live up to his name. "I see what you are saying though. I think the best way to go against that is to support her in whatever she wants. If it's okay for her to do what she likes, why should she hate you?"
He considered his answer before she spoke. "No, I don't believe that she hates divination but she doesn't hold it to the same standard that I do. She's becoming a young woman. Finding out about herself. Making some distance is normal right? I mean, I wouldn't really know. I have never been a woman myself."
She seemed so enthusiastic for the answer, it brought a smile to his face. "I could theoretically. We try not to do that though. It's a bit like a healer working on themselves. There is just too much room for error because I want a certain answer. I may just be looking for it."
