Daphne's smirk only annoyed her more. Of course she'd be amused. "I'm sure you would," she said with a hint of sarcasm. Sometimes it felt as if Daphne would love nothing more than to see her disappointed. Not that Astoria didn't feel the same way sometimes, but she'd never really wish bad things on her sister. She was Daphne and despite how irritating she could be, Astoria loved her. "Don't run into any fire dancers on the way in," she replied with false cheer. But at least she wouldn't have to deal with her any longer. If Daphne was going inside then Astoria would be staying right there, as far away from her as possible. "Have a good night, Daphne," she said, not meaning it at all this time. Astoria didn't bother to look at her sister any longer. Instead she began to scan the crowd for someone who could cheer her up and waited for the atmosphere to lighten as it inevitably did when Daphne left a room. Astoria was just being petty and cruel now but she definitely didn't care.
