Astoria smiled halfheartedly at Daphne. She still didn't think she was drunk enough though she felt better having Daphne encourage her. "I'd remember though. And so would you," she replied in amusement. Hadn't they just been speaking of blackmail anyway? Maybe she'd try it later, after a few more drinks. She wasn't surprised by Daphne's vague answer. She'd found what she wanted to do. It felt like it had never really been a problem for her sister. "I'm working on it," she replied with a roll of her eyes. "I've been brewing potions for your father." Astoria sighed and frowned. She had always loved brewing potions and she didn't mind working with her father, but she didn't fancy the idea of doing it everyday for the rest of her life. It was a hobby and that only.
Astoria grinned. "How do you know I'd have any advice to give?" she asked innocently. It wouldn't bother Astoria, really, but she didn't think that Daphne was really the type to share either. For some reason Astoria just couldn't picture it. "You wouldn't." She turned to Daphne with narrowed eyes. She knew she was joking but the idea was terrifying. "I'd just have to tell them I'm following in my sister's footsteps," she said finally with a shrug and a small laugh. Her parents would be horrified. Not that she planned on being a spinster but there was nothing wrong with giving herself the chance to find someone she actually liked.
