Daphne ran her hands down her arms, trying to comfort herself. She normally didn't scare easily, but somehow, she was bit jumpy tonight. Or maybe it was the alcohol. She had no idea. Looking over at her sister, she gave her a small smile. "I'm sure they wouldn't," she agreed, trying not to look so disturbed the whole idea of an accident. She still was, of course, but pretty to be reassured was just another part of being in control. Whether she was going crazy inside didn't matter as long as people perceived her to be cool, calm, and composed.
Daphne nodded, her smile a little easier now. "And I'll spare you," she replied with an assured nod. The idea of actually telling Astoria - or anyone in her family - about her love life - which would accurately just be referred to as a sex life instead - was a bit terrifying to her. She wanted them to see her as the calmed, in control, pureblood woman, not someone who indulges in her baser instincts from time to time. Of course, since starting to teach at Hogwarts those times were fewer and farther between, but they existed on her off time. Daphne laughed. Reaching up, she ran her fingers through her hair, shaking her head with laughter. "Of course! They'd already have our engagement rings picked out, a date for ceremony... It'd be horrible if we have to tell them afterward that they are wrong, no?"
