Re: OUTSIDE IN THE FIELD
Mandy drifted away from the fire dancers. She had been mesmerized by them long enough. There was other things to see here tonight, right? Moving through the crowd, she noticed the the maypoles again. People were dancing in circles around it with ribbon, which confused Mandy. Why were they dancing around giant poles with ribbon? What was the point? She also noticed, to her discomfort, that some parts of the party had broken up into couples who were snogging - and some seemingly want to do more than that - in dark corners on the outskirts. She avoided them, staying toward the center of the group while she wandered. Part of her didn't care what anyone did, but there was still a part of her that knew that she shouldn't watch by any means. If they wanted to make out in public, it was their choice, but they didn't need an audience. And the whole idea of accidentally watching made her feel weird and uncomfortable. It was best to just avoid it all together.
She stopped at one of the food tables, looking at the options. The food out here seemed to be better than what was offered inside and there was juice. She greedily took a cup of juice and one of the cake things. Moving to the side, she stayed the table as she ate and drink, knowing she'd just be back anyway.
