Cormac grinned at her. "Oh there is a certain standard for the McLaggen way, but that doesn't mean I have to bend to everything they want. Hell, if I was going to do that, I might as well wait until I'm forty to get married and have a family, right? Standards, Bells, are made to be broken much like rules and we both know much I love breaking rules," he said, draping his arm around her shoulders in a light hug. He did mean it. He had to adhere to a lot of the McLaggen standards for both his life and this wedding, but he wasn't going to do everything they wanted all the time. It defeated the whole purpose and it would make him and Katie both miserable in the end.
He grinned at her. "Oh, the McLaggen way is not to wear bling," he said with a laugh. "And that's one standard I intend to keep."
