Astoria bit down on her lip when she saw the questioning glance. She was apprehensive about what she had done. It had been mostly reflex but she had certainly not minded as long as he was okay with it. She ran a hand through her hair, pushing it away from her and tucking it behind an ear. Astoria didn't like feeling so uncertain, especially in regards to Cormac. Their easy conversation had died down and now she felt tense. Did she want him to kiss her? She knew that she did. Even if it ended up being just this one time but something held her back. With anyone but Cormac there would have been no doubts.
"That's reassuring," she said, a smile splitting a cross her face as she faced him again. The part of her that doubted the honesty behind people's words was somewhat relieved. He was being nice because he wanted to be.
