Astoria smiled in return. "I'm sure," she said. She wasn't completely sure what he meant by it but she figured she'd find out in the end. "Anyway, that just really means that we're all normal and boring," she replied with a grin. "But for the record, I am very special." Everyone thought that, didn't they? Maybe not the way it was usually meant, but she was special to her family and to her friends and that counted for something in her mind. Turning back to the bar, Astoria fiddled with her half-empty martini glass, spinning it slowly on the counter before finally drinking.
"That's nothing we haven't done before. I'm sure we can come to an agreement," Astoria suggested. She almost added that it could be just as fun as the kissing booth but she managed to hold her tongue.
