RP: It really is true...
Date: December 28th, 2000
Characters: Annaliese and Grindelwald
Location: Grindelwald's Office
Warnings: Gingersnap!love
Public/Private: Private
Summary: Grindelwald, remembering that the Romanian ambassador shares his fondness for gingersnaps, invites Annaliese up for leftovers. Very surreal, and she hopes there is tea.
Status: Incomplete
It should not have surprised her that the Minister of Magic was aware that she was still diligently working. Late. Per usual. What should and did surprise her was the small invitation, via intra-office memo, inviting her to his office for discussion and gingersnaps. While she was certain Grindelwald was not of the forgetful stock and therefore remembered their impromptu discussion all those weeks ago in Hogsmeade, she had been sure he would not actively seek her company over the treats again. Dare say, she wasn't that interesting of a witch.
There was the smallest chance that it was to be a political discussion, but still, over gingersnaps? Giving a small chuckle, still morose (as everything she did lately was depressing), Annaliese tidying up her desk before extinguishing the lighting charm in her area and gathering her cloak.
The Ministry wasn't entirely empty, but it was void of many of it's workers. This was not eerie to her; she was used to working late. It simply made the lift ride less uncomfortable and her walk through the Minister's department void of officious looking young gentlemen (with far too much sense of importance for their age ) who might ask her why she was there.
She knocked on his office door twice and folded her pale hands behind her back patiently.
