Summary: Still working on this whole 'relaxing' thing, Percy goes to a museum to try and have ... 'fun.'
Status: Incomplete
The thing that Percy really disliked about late fall, he thought, was that it got so dark so early. There was something extremely disconcerting about going into and leaving from work and it being dark both times - it was like the sun didn't even exist anymore. But, he told himself firmly, that sort of fanciful thinking was how people lost productivity, and Merlin knew how much he was missing already since he'd decided to go to the Natural History museum. He had never been, despite having something of an interest in it, never really having the time to spare. But he was still working on that promise to his mum, to work on relaxing a bit more, and he supposed there were worse ways to waste an afternoon.
Murmuring his thanks to the woman who waved him in, he glanced around, taking in his surroundings. Likely mostly Muggles, and he was glad he had his wand tucked into the special pocket of the sleeve of his suit jacket, ready to be pulled out at a moment's notice. Hopefully, even Muggles would have the good sense not to get violent in a museum, but one could never be too careful with them. Plucking up a brochure, he examined the map and decided the 'Blue Zone' seemed the most interesting: dinosaurs, mammals, that sort of thing. Navigating that way, he stepped in and finally looked up, seeing a massive skeleton standing in front of him.
"...oh, my," he breathed, feeling a little jolt of delight he hadn't felt in years. Perhaps this wouldn't be so bad after all.
