Location: Diagon Alley
Public/Private: Public

Summary: Lily goes people watching in a place where she is sure no one notices her
Status: complete
There was no more a place where she felt utterly invisible as she did in Diagon Alley. No one noticed her here. The few interactions she had, had were fluxes and really only came about because she had brought attention to herself in one way or another. Really, if she kept to herself, no one could tell what she was. There were no physical attributes that gave away that she was muggleborn. At least not yet. There was one more week before Lily was obligated by this new legislation to go and register as a muggleborn. She had yet to decide if she were even going to do it. While that wouldn’t be a physical attribute to her being a muggleborn that was probably the next step. They ultimately would want a way to tell a muggleborn from all other blood statuses by just a look.
Lily had yet to decide if she were going to actually register. There were pros and cons to either choice. Either way, her involvement with the Class became all the more dangerous. If she were registered she wouldn’t even be able to deny her blood status should they catch her doing anything a muggleborn shouldn’t be doing. And if she weren’t registered, she was sure that one day she would end up in a cell like she had several months ago. They already knew in her file that she was a muggleborn. Not being registered meant they could do to her whatever punishment they wanted for breaking this law. Really, all this was probably leading her to make a choice. One day, she would either have to just be in the muggle world or just be in the magical one. She couldn’t waffle between the two of them. Not if they were going to take away her ability to keep her status a secret.
Walking down the cobbled street, she stopped at a store front and peered inside. She had till the 22nd to make her choice.
