Ahoy, honorary islanders! For those of you I did not get a chance to meet yesterday, my name is Poppy Gladwin, and I'll be your Head Vacation Guide during your stay here at the Grand Paradise Hotel!
In order to orient you with our beautiful surroundings, our guides have put together a couple of introductory tours to showcase all of the wonderful sights and activities Hamnet Island has to offer! Today, I will be whisking you away to experience our paradise like a true local.
Come along and immerse yourself in the rich culture of our island neighbors, sample authentic fare prepared in the same traditions that have been passed on for generations, and explore some of the vistas that have long been considered the absolute best by those who call the island their home!
Tour Overview
Serenity Bay - Dubbed Le Sanctuaire by the locals, this tranquil beach has long been rated the most beautiful by the natives of Hamnet Island.
The Mangrove Forest - Our famous mangrove forests serve as nurseries to many species of fish, which contributes to the island's robust aquaculture. Idyllic in their beauty, many locals claim the waters in these areas possess healing properties.
The Museum of Oddities - Although this site has been closed since 2016, the area still contains a wealth of island history.
The Merchants' Courtyard - Get to know some of our most creative and expressive locals as you browse their wares and savor the authentic flavors of our island cuisine. If you want to find that perfect memento to take a little piece of the island home with you, this is the destination for you!
The Ferry Docks & The Boathouse - Meet the Boatman and get the 411 on all of your watercraft rentals, so that you can explore our shores like a true islander!
The Curio Shack - Upon returning to the hotel, we will make a final stop at the Curio Shack, where you can view and purchase replicas of the original expedition artifacts housed in the Museum of Oddities, as well as other souvenirs.
This tour is open to all, but please drop us an RSVP in the comments so that we may get an accurate headcount. Our group will be meeting in the hotel lobby and departing at 1:00 p.m.
I am so excited to be spending this time with you and having the opportunity to show you the very best of our island!!!
For guests who can't wait to check out some of the more physically challenging activities on the island, please contact Harmony Gladwin.
