not like he can shuffle us after two of two games. We proved we're interchangeable today by training our reserves hard. We made first string debatable. He didn't blink when he took my captains badge. He told me he has higher standards than Vector.

We won by the snitch today. Maybe he'll wanna do something with those higher standards before next game because maybe he doesn't think winning by the snitch is good enough.

If your first string's good and your reserves are half-decent, outcomes like today are what's supposed to happen. The game isn't supposed to fall apart when someone gets incapacitated. When Thorn told you he holds you to "higher standards" he was talking about his standards of student interaction, not whether or not you get knocked out by two bad-ass visiting Beaters. If anything, taking your captain's badge shows that winning games isn't the most important thing for him. He's not a mad Quidditch dictator; he's an educator.

Get over yourself.
