I need to borrow your rats, please? As many as you can? The more rats, the more accurate the reading but Cecilia should be enough if you don't feel comfortable with your pet being used in myomancy. I understand. She's very active tonight. ~~She's nocturnal but I'm certain she senses something wr~~ Are any of your rats restless too?

I'm worried about Ulysses. We all are. And I know we all searched yesterday, but I think we were relying too much on the physical? And maybe we should try the metaphysical? There are quite a few of us with talents in the Divine and I think if we all worked together, we could locate him? It's worth a try, right?

Does anyone have a key to the Divination tower? There are more resources we can use in there. More resources, more results to compare. We'll find him. I've been scrying all night, but I don't have the same focus as I do in the Divination tower. I just see grey and white and brown and dull, muddied colors. It's cold. ~~Maybe because I'm cold?~~ We already searched outside, but he's not outside?

I'm going to take Cecilia out and make a harness from my skein of yarn and see where she leads me.

Quayle is missing and if Wong wants to be a callous bitch about it, I can take a few moments away from searching every corner of this place to tell her to go fuck herself. And for all the progress we're making, it might just be the most productive thing I've done today.

You should be looking for your roommate instead of lashing out at others and seeking fights. I know you're upset, but there are better ways to deal with your frustrations.

You, and others, picked a fight on my journal. I had to read it. It's my business if it's on my journal. It went from bickering to dog piling and I'm putting a stop to it before it escalates.

	No, there's nothing to be sorry for! She was out of line and trying to get a reaction out of you because she knows you're vulnerable. I understand why the others reacted to her so strongly, but I think dog piling distracts from the mission and it gives Coralee the negative attention she craves. The angrier you get, the happier Coralee is. Chris gives her exactly what she wants. Don't insult her, don't get upset; it makes her feel like she's winning and lets her take the high ground, because for all of her unpleasantness she will rarely resort to either. The quickest way to stop her is to stop the people arguing with her. It will not make you popular, but it will work when there is no other choice. Realize you will never be able to hurt her or shock her, no matter how clever your words are.

And Ennis? Let him be, as long as he is not hurting himself or others. Let gentle prefect talk to him if he is out of line and you don't feel like you can be soft. There are things he says that sound judgemental, but you have to let them go. He means well.

And Ennis is constantly hurting himself and others. Encouraging people to see the thing in the woods as something harmless. Something with that needs help and wants friendship and all that bullshit like he knows that it's true. It's dangerous. He's dangerous. No matter how good his intentions are. Even now, he's talking about that thing 'borrowing' Quayle. Like he's a goddamn book or something instead of a person. I can't be soft with him.
