Apparently, I have deeply shamed our (questionably) good family name by having only ever invited friends back home when it's the holidays and we have the Big Top broken down.

My mother insists that we put on an utterly poor show of it - and, furthermore, that it's completely ridiculous for someone who lives in a traveling show to have friends that have never even been to a real circus before. And while I can't exactly argue with her, I honestly hadn't really thought too much about it.

So consider Gooseberry informally invited to Nox during Spring Break.

And free funnel cake. Ibu said to add that.

	Ooh, fancy. What does a person do with three days of luxury, exactly? My sister had two receptions? But that's mostly because her in-laws are still mildly terrified of us. So we had a nice, normal wedding the first day. And Ibu can always change it to a more convenient date for everyone, if need be. Tents are up most of the year. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Booze it up, pretend to be important, see how many photographers I can get to take my picture. I don't know luxury so this'll be a new experience for me. THREE WHOLE DAYS, THOUGH. THEY'RE NOT EVEN INDIAN, THEY'RE MEXICAN.

The wedding's March 16th-18th but I think some of us are staying in Mexico that whole week? I'm not making any commitments to stay before the wedding yet just in case more events pop up that I wanna go to instead. Plus Cecil doesn't speak Spanish so it might not be fun for him to spend all his break in Mexico.

We got flooded once and they put us up in a swanky hotel? That's - about as luxurious as I've done, honestly. And even that didn't take three days.

If you get enough pictures taken, you can make an album of yourself. Keep it on the coffee table.

I'll make sure she schedules around it, then. Or make her pick two dates. The whole thing's supposed to be informal, but it's all she talked about for most of break. I think she's excited that I might actually have friends.
