FREEDOM!

The Most Glorious and Upstanding City of Hamilton is now officially Jesse-McBride-free and oh, it feels good!

The power came back on just in time for the Leafs–Rangers game! I'm no longer grounded! (It turns out that being snowed in for three days seemed like sufficient punishment to Gord and Flo!) I have two Healer Training applications ~~mostly~~ done! It's almost Christmas!

Basically, this feels exactly like Gooseberry except I don't have a makeout plague. Pity.

I have no idea what you're talking about. But I'm sure whoever wrote the guide won't get in more trouble than they got for breaking their leg sledding down a forbidden hill.

And you didn't seem to have a fucking problem with it at the time. Which I was joking by the way. I hadn't written a guide back then. I mean beyond like mental notes - which everyone does anyway.

Whoever wrote the guide got the same punishment as half the school; I can almost guarantee you that it would have been a lot more severe if it had only been a few students. Half the school didn't write the elusive 'secret guide.' Park, you need to be so goddamn careful about this.

It looks like, at the time, I started to get angry and then had bigger shit to deal with. But I'm back, and now you're doing a shit job of hiding that you wrote the master version.

You're acting like I'm handling confidential files here. I wrote a fucking guide to prefects from the stand point of a fucking senior that is trying to fuck half of those same seniors.

Okay that's a lie. Not necessarily from the stand point, from the like ... diagonal standpoint. I know you assholes better than Chloe does.

So just explain it, slowly. Why the fuck are you acting like I'm handling confidential files here?

If it isn't so bad, why did you want to keep it a secret? Why did you want the writer to (presumably) remain anonymous?

You say it isn't a burn book or some slut-shaming tool. Good. The other things, like who doesn't care about enforcing the dress code, or who turns a blind eye to students making out, or if a Prefect is prone to partying — if you mention shit like that, it can be really bad for Prefects. And I know you so I'm expecting this guide to mention that kind of bullshit. It means that we're known for not doing our jobs whether or not many students give a shit, and it could end very poorly.
