The post of a million wards.
Is everyone happy with their patronus?

[Warded to Wes]

Are you in the mood to talk about the incident when you were camping?
[Warded to Sun-mi]
How are you feeling? Is it okay for me to ask?
[Warded to Ravi]
Do you want to talk about what happened or have you already bottled it up and buried it?
[Warded to Cecil]
Cecil, I hate to ask you for favors, because I know how busy you are. However, I need your help with something.

We need our bake sale to be a success because plans for the Winter Formal are growing ambitious. The results will be very romantic if we make enough money. (This is a thing I imagine you are newly invested in.)

However, you are an easy source of quality, free desserts. Why wait for the bake sale when you can just ask dear, sweet "Honeybee"? You are an ally, not an obstacle, though. If you stopped baking, and agreed to exclusively make things to sell instead, it would drive up demand.

I may be a little more invested than last year, admittedly.

I get what you mean, but do you think it will make that much of a difference? And I can't promise that right now, anyway. Levi's birthday is next week. What sort of boyfriend would I be if I didn't make him a cake?

Mmhmmmm.

What sort of boyfriend you are is not my business, but I am not heartless. Make him a cake, and that is it. No other baking, just one cake. Not a cake and also bird shaped cookies for all of Azurcrest and then some scones for the birthday morning.

Just wait, and it will make a difference.

Are you making fun of me, Raf? I can stop at just one cake if I want to stop at one cake.

[...]

All right. You have my word. No more baking until December 12th.

Me? Make fun of you? Never. I take everything about you very seriously, even the fact that whenever someone mentions being hungry or sad you mysteriously appear with a basket of cookies.

Wonderful! Thank you, Cecil. I am very excited. When your friends whine, tell them this is the price of getting to second base in a romantically lit tree maze. They must suffer so you can succeed.

Should one of us announce it? I want to see their cries of desperation. (I am mostly joking.)

There's nothing mysterious about that and it isn't always cookies.

You're welcome, Rafael. But I think you might be enjoying this a little too much. Also, that's not why I'm agreeing. For the record. I mean, Levi and I have already

Do you think we need to announce it? Maybe if I just don't offer, nobody will ask?
