NOVEMBER GROTTO PARTY

There's still a light snowfall as the sun sets, but adrenaline must be keeping some of the students warm as one by one they sneak out into the woods to the Grotto.

The Grotto is always warmer than you expect it to be, although the chill and snowflakes encourage everyone to cuddle close to their friends and dates. The bonfire is large and ambitious, and it reflects off the white snow, making for a warm and seasonal party. Alcohol is widely available to anyone who wants it, and some thoughtful students also made sure there was plenty of water and soda. By the fire is a conjured table hosting Quidditch Beer Pong.

Inside the stone building, things get downright cozy. There's one odd discovery, though: Laurel Templeton's flag! It appears to be stuck hard with magic, so taking it back will be a problem. Regardless of this, many students sit down on blankets and pillows to keep themselves off the cold dirt floor. A circle gathers around a single glass bottle, and kissing games take place on and off throughout the night.

RULES

Teen peer pressure (and player sadism) aside, no one is obligated to do anything they don't want to. Characters doing Seven Minutes In Heaven can spend the time just talking or staring awkwardly at each other, and characters playing Spin The Bottle can opt out of a kiss (although people will probably boo).

If characters get up to anything more racy than PG-13, please fade to black on that! This includes sexually explicit conversations. Many people track IC/OOC posts, so please have consideration for your fellow players. Talking about sex is fine (and part of the flavour of a teen game), but there's no need to get into detailed descriptions of anatomy or sex acts.

If you'd like to say two characters were partners in STB or 7MIH in addition to what's been rolled, feel free! Obviously, get the permission of all involved characters first.

» Before the Party: Classes drag on and on, and then after dinner students have a scant two hours of prep. Primping, pre-gaming, or just impatiently waiting for 7:00.

» Around the Fire: The large bonfire is warm and romantic. Pull up a log and grab a blanket, or dance to the party music. You can contest for control of the music, but don't make it weird, guys. (That means you two, Diego and Katya. We know what you listen to.) If you don't care for music, there's beer and soda in the ice chests, along with bins for empty bottles and cans. Don't litter, guys, seriously.

» Inside the Building: This may be where the kissing games are taking place, but there's still some room to just snuggle and chat.

» Kissing Games: This is where to post your character's reaction to their Spin the Bottle and Seven Minutes in Heaven Assignments!

Spin The Bottle: Everyone sits in a circle and takes turns spinning the bottle to find their partner. Anyone who squeezes in (or happens to be accidentally standing behind a gap in the circle) gets a shot at a kiss. People can leave and enter the game at any time. Participants will be encouraged by their drunken classmates to kiss on the mouth.
Seven Minutes in Heaven: "Heaven" is a narrow, closet-sized room adjacent to the main party, and is dark except for some cracks of light from the door. (The "door" being a heavy wooden board that's propped against the doorway and magically "locked" for seven minutes.) You can use your wand to get more light, but really, you two should be making out.

» Quidditch Beer Pong: Not far from the bonfire, Sy Stoker has set up a table with three yellow hoops sitting on a rectangular box, which will randomly release a miniature Golden Snitch. (Sort of like this, but slightly less janky-looking.) Nearby is a supply of red ping pong balls, Solo cups, and a waterproof signup sheet. Rules have been posted in Sy's journal. Winners will be determined through RNG (Marin will roll 1–50 for each player, best team total wins).

» The Woods: Don't wander too far. Is it just me, or do you keep getting the sensation of being watched from beyond the trees?

» After the Party: The further you get from the Grotto, the colder it gets. Brr! Did you make it back to your cabin? Did someone else put you up for the night?

Unsurprisingly, Levi is attached at the hip to Cecil. He's not drunk and he's barely buzzed despite their loss at beer pong, but the spirit of the Grotto always puts him in a giddy and amorous mood. For the first time, he's off the market and unable to participate in the kissing games but that pent up energy and desire are focused almost entirely on Cecil instead.

He sits sideways, legs draped over Cecil's lap, nose pressed into the crook of Cecil's neck so that he can keep inhaling his scent in-between sips of beer. "Do you want to play spin the bottle with me?" he asks, holding his empty beer bottle out to the side and waggling it.

Cecil also isn't drunk (not surprising since the strongest thing he's had today is water), but it's not difficult to get caught up in the mood and the feel of the party anyway. Especially not with Levi pressed up against him, ducked into the curve of his neck and draped over him while one of Cecil's arms is hooked his waist. He likes being this close and he likes this natural intimacy that's developing between them. Despite the cold, he feels almost impossibly warm. When Levi speaks up, he blinks and laughs softly. After a moment, he touches the lip of the bottle, angles it toward himself, and looks at his boyfriend with uplifted and shyly expectant eyebrows.

Levi can't help but give a laugh at Cecil's attempt and rewards him with a quick peck for trying. "Spin the bottle, Cecil," he corrects, pulling the bottle back to balance it precariously on his kneecap. He's far too content with his current position to move away and spin it properly. "Watch." Levi spins it once and stops it to land on Cecil before it can teeter and roll away. But it doesn't matter because it rolls off and onto the ground the moment Levi grabs Cecil by the collar of his jacket to pull him in for a kiss that's rougher and far more eager than their usual.

While he's happy to take that quick peck, even Cecil has to roll his eyes as Levi attempts to explain the game. He knows how it works, but with two people what's the poi- Before he can tease the other boy, though, the bottle has rolled away and he's been pulled into a real kiss. A firm and forceful kiss that leaves him breathless until their lips part and prompts his grip on Levi to tighten thoughtlessly.

His dark eyes are startled but exhilarated and he murmurs quietly, "Levi..."

Levi hasn't let go of his jacket, and his cheeks are flushed and eyes are starry once he pulls away. "Ce-cil," he sings back in a playful tone, each syllable taking on a musical quality. Levi quickly swipes up the bottle and places it back into his lap before leaning forward again to press a kiss to his jawline. "Your turn to spin," he murmurs against his skin, but makes no move to set up the bottle for him. Instead, he kisses the underside of his jaw and leads a trail of soft kisses down his neck and into the dip he had been nuzzling into.

Cecil is relieved that Levi doesn't actually make him spin the bottle and that he isn't away from him for more than a moment before he's pressed close again. When he begins kissing his jaw and his neck, following the slope toward his shoulders and his collar bone the sensation is entirely new and he thoughtlessly tilts his head to further offer that uncovered skin to him. Not that there's much of it with his jacket and his button-up shirt. But still. He exhales a soft sound that makes it clear just how he feels about Levi's efforts.

The hand on his jacket now works at undoing the top few buttons while his kisses trail back up his neck, along his jaw, and toward his temple. Levi's lips linger on Cecil's earlobe before he guides it with his tongue and holds it lightly between his teeth, for just a moment, in order to make his intentions perfectly clear. He ceases his attempts at removing the jacket and brings his hand up to cup Cecil's cheek before asking in a breathy whisper, "Do you want to try Seven Minutes in Heaven next?"

This is overwhelming for Cecil; each new kiss seems to make his heart beat harder and his body tremble a little with how good it feels. He wants Levi to keep going and, even when he stops, it takes the familiar feeling of the other boy's hand on his cheek to bring him back to earth. Or, at least, nearer to it. He puts his hand over Levi's and smiles, not even realizing how flushed his cheeks are. "Yeah," he manages quietly after a moment, laughing softly with nervous, excited energy, "Yeah. I do. I..."

He moves to kiss Levi firmly and remains close even when their lips part. "Think they'll let us crash the party, though?" he teases softly.

Levi traces his finger along Cecil's lower lip and goes in for one more kiss before finally answering him: "Just whip out your Head Boy badge. Isn't that what it's for?" He laughs and then gives a more serious answer, "They're probably still playing Spin the Bottle. Seven Minutes usually comes later. Not that I won't cut in and drag you into that closet either way."

"We can probably sneak Fourteen Minutes if we tried," he teases, and swings his legs off of Cecil's lap to plant his feet on the ground. He stands and shamelessly pulls down the front hem of his sweater before snickering and offering Cecil a hand up. "And if fourteen minutes still isn't enough to sate your ravenous appetite, we can partake in the tradition of sneaking off into treeline for more kissing."

	Cecil blushes but doesn't acknowledge....well, any of this. Because he doesn't want to overthink or hesitate or lose his nerve. He just takes Levi's hand and pulls himself up and lets the other boy lead him toward the Grotto. (Reply to this) (Parent)
