I like endless Quidditch talk as much as the next person, but can we take a moment to discuss the mysterious building work that's going on in the woods by the lodge? Merrill told me I'd find out what it is soon enough (which would sound ominous coming from anyone else but him) but I'm really enjoying the theories so far. My personal favorites include:

  • A detention cell for holding the really naughty troublemakers.
  • A teacher-sanctioned alternative to the Grotto where we can drink safely.
  • Kennels. (This from a girl who really misses her dog, apparently.)

... Are you implying that Azurcrest needs its very own detention cell?

Maaaaaybe. I am pretty sure it would be a point of pride to be sent to the naughty cage.

Chloe thinks there's going to be cage fighting which, if true, is going to lead to people queuing up to be sent there.

Apparently it all started when we went on our last bonding trip.

Help, I think I'm turning into you. The thought of cage fighting really turns me on.

Mmmhmmmm. People fighting to straddle each other so that they're on top. The passion. The fury. The NOSEBLEEDS.

If your goal was to get me to take off another layer of clothing, you succeeded. It's suddenly really hot in here.

It's my job to help conquer this cold front that's about to come in.

It's all about that fight for dominance and the look they give you before they go all in with the intent to destroy you. It's everything that's so wonderful about hate sex except there's no hate and no sex, there's just consensual fighting and raging boners. Plus I think it's considered bad form to actually fight the person while you're fucking besides biting and pulling hair.

You're so eloquent. I hadn't really thought about it beyond 1) take clothes off, 2) wrestle someone, 3) make out afterward. But then, I'm not really capable of coherent thought right now.

No, no, no, no, no. Wrestle with clothes on so that rushing to take each other's clothes off becomes part of the fight. Uniform shirts are the best because all the little buttons go flying everywhere and a neckerchief suddenly has many creative uses.

Pull off the neck tie first. When you tear open their shirt, start from the middle because it gets the most buttons to fly. One fluid movement, just RIP it apart. This is why removing the tie first is important or else it'll awkwardly get caught up at the neck and the effect isn't the same.

I personally think leaving the skirt on for the purpose of hiking it up is more aesthetically pleasing, but I can't speak from experience. Don't worry about getting the trousers all the way off because then you're stuck with the clumsy removal of shoes and socks. Get the trousers unbuttoned and unzipped and lower them just enough. If you lower them too much, they'll get caught around the knees and start tripping the person up and it'll make it harder for them to straddle you. You want a fair fight. Belts also have creative uses, but don't start beating them with it unless you know you have their consent.

I personally prefer the wall-pin tactic and that works for us because we have a height advantage.

So much to remember. I think I'm going to need to put this into practice. Starting with the wall-pin tactic.
