ANNOUNCEMENT: Where's Wesley?

As many of you have gathered, Wesley Carpenter was pulled out of school by his parents and will not be returning. His roommates were informed today, and that information can be considered public knowledge.

That character name is going to remain untouched. Wes will remain part of game canon, and his PB will not be available for use.

In the future, the empty spot in the cabin is going to be filled by... Damon Evercreech. Damon will be a Hogwarts exchange student who came under special circumstances. He's the older brother of Calvin Evercreech (evercreep), and will arrive when someone actually applies for him! This means that not only will you have a bratty little brother, but you'll get to play his arrival in America.

This will be finalized later, but if you're interested, you can contact Meggie for more information on the Evercreeches. She's willing to retcon elements of the Evercreech brothers to provide more flexibility.

Ty feels like shit about this, honestly. He wasn't as close with Wes as Rafael was, but he definitely feels like he should've taken his struggles more seriously and feels guilty that he didn't reach out more. He wasn't the one making jokes or bullying Wes, but he didn't do much to stop that or help him feel better either.

There's probably an undercurrent of 'well, I hope you're happy' for Chris and Robin, but he's pretty bad at maintaining a cold shoulder and doesn't want to fight. So we'll see how that goes. Mostly, though, he's worried about Rafael because he knows how much this will hurt him. He'll be a protective and attentive and worried buddy for a while aaaaand, if he gets the impression that Raf doesn't really want to talk but he still wants to hang around, there will likely be hanging out with a squirrel time. Don't be sad, Raf, look how cute he is! (He's not five, Ty.)

Quinn will likely hear about all of this from him too.

Character(s)/Line Wanted: Damon Evercreech
Details: Damon is going to be arriving mid-way through the school year, and his first day at Gooseberry will be when he's introed! Damon is the older brother of Calvin (this guy here) and there are some established things about the Evercreeches you should know!

There are 5 Evercreech brothers, and they're all in Slytherin or Gryffindor, and they were all in Hogwarts at the same time. None of the staff their liked them. Calvin's the middle child, Damon is the eldest.

They're all supposed to be problem children, and Calvin is considered the "good child" and got preferential treatment from his parents... but also less attention because he was low maintenance.

The family's lower middle class with a stay-at-home-dad. Their mother is Sacred 28 pureblood, and their father is from a halfblood offshoot of the Bulstrode line that gets the cold shoulder from their more pure relatives. They have family members who were loyal to Voldemort and some of them are serving time in Azkaban. Calvin doesn't like to talk about that~~~

There are two options for Damon's relationship with Calvin!
- The Evercreech home is chaotic and the brothers fight A LOT. Calvin's used to contention and people who love him being aggressive. Calvin and Damon could be two brothers who DO NOT get along, in which case Calvin will be less than thrilled to have his big brother here. He's been telling his family that he's very popular and things are awesome in America. He's lying.
- HOWEVER, there's one brother that Calvin is very close to, and this brother could be Damon. If this is the case, Calvin will be THRILLED to be reunited with Damon. He'll idolize him, always take his side, confide in him (aka whine to him) etc. He's written this brother home with honest accounts of how he's doing.

EVERYTHING ELSE IS UP TO YOU. And I'm flexible if you want to bend any of these points I made above.
