hello hello
Hey folks, I'm new. My name's Cameron, but since I take it you already have one of those in-game (it was my name first, kid, back off!), feel free to call me any nickname or variation thereof. I apologise in advance for any confusion, lmao. Anyway, I'm 24 and a graduate/professional student. I'm also falling off the wagon after 4-or-so years clean from RP, thanks to a little prodding by JJ. God help me.

I picked up 1 character. This little turdblossom is Ulysses Quayle, Ebonhide junior and baby bro to Cricket. Basically, his shtick is that he was everyone's precious baby angel until he went to boarding school and hit puberty and stuff, and then people stopped finding him cute and his whole world fell apart. Now he's like "WHO AM I" and because he's a teenager, this results in 50% melancholic navel-gazing and 50% Acting Out™. Expect trouble in everything but class, because he's terribly afraid that if he isn't effortlessly succeeding at school, it means he's lost his last identity token ("smart").

So, he's kind of a neurotic brat. Thankfully, he's also pretty charming, loyal to friends and fam, good with creatures (ask him about his blue tongued skink) 'n' kids, and somewhere deep down, a generally good guy. Ulysses is a chaser on the Quidditch team and very into it.

So yeah, that's Ulysses in a nutshell, I guess. Any plots or suggestions would be more than welcomed. I'm excited to play with you guys.

HELLO CAMERON! This is the best! You're the best! Ulysses is the best!

I'm so PUMPED to start playing them together. Cricket is inevitably going to baby him, but she's definitely toned down the fawning since it started to make him uncomfortable/annoyed (at least where he can see it). The only thing that will legitimately piss her off is physical fighting but I love to torture my characters, so BY ALL MEANS have him brawl like crazy.

My other character is JESSE MCBRIDE! He's the Azurcrest Senior prefect. Super math/science gifted, but comes across like a dumb bro. He's very difficult to ruffle, a total troll, and generally speaking... a pretty typical gross teenage boy. He's in a baaaand that he talks about a lot. And he's going to break the space-time continuum with his senior project (a teleporter for muggles).

I'm pumped too. Also, in the interest of full disclosure... I read Cricket's app as I was writing Ulysses (obviously) and I thought to myself, "Gosh, this fighting thing will definitely upset Cricket." And then I wrote it in anyway. Because I love causing problems.

Also, lmao, Jesse is on the level. Like, just generally someone I would've want to hang out with back when I was a wayward youth. (Minus the, uhh, burgeoning alcoholism thing anyway; poor kid.) Anyway, I feel like Ulysses is pretty easy to spin up, so the contrast there could be amusing and fun!

Oh! Also! We should plot out Parent Teacher Conference stuff a little bit. I've been trying to figure out who their parents' PBs might be, but I am terrible with PBs.

I was thinking Paul Bettany & Christina Hendricks would make passably similar looking children with a young Leo Dicaprio older brother, but I'm having a hard time handwaving that Cricket is 17 even though Holland Roden is 30 and it's messing my brain up. But it also really doesn't matter so I am open to any and all suggestions

	yes absolutely i gotta hit the hay but i'll be up in approximately 6 hours with thoughts on this i think the PBs you have picked sound great, but unfortunately, i am also really, really, terrible at choosing faces. (dane de haan is 30 too, which is... wild to me) (Reply to this) (Parent)
