hello hello
Hey folks, I'm new. My name's Cameron, but since I take it you already have one of those in-game (it was my name first, kid, back off!), feel free to call me any nickname or variation thereof. I apologise in advance for any confusion, lmao. Anyway, I'm 24 and a graduate/professional student. I'm also falling off the wagon after 4-or-so years clean from RP, thanks to a little prodding by JJ. God help me.

I picked up 1 character. This little turdblossom is Ulysses Quayle, Ebonhide junior and baby bro to Cricket. Basically, his shtick is that he was everyone's precious baby angel until he went to boarding school and hit puberty and stuff, and then people stopped finding him cute and his whole world fell apart. Now he's like "WHO AM I" and because he's a teenager, this results in 50% melancholic navel-gazing and 50% Acting Out™. Expect trouble in everything but class, because he's terribly afraid that if he isn't effortlessly succeeding at school, it means he's lost his last identity token ("smart").

So, he's kind of a neurotic brat. Thankfully, he's also pretty charming, loyal to friends and fam, good with creatures (ask him about his blue tongued skink) 'n' kids, and somewhere deep down, a generally good guy. Ulysses is a chaser on the Quidditch team and very into it.

So yeah, that's Ulysses in a nutshell, I guess. Any plots or suggestions would be more than welcomed. I'm excited to play with you guys.

HEEEEY CAMERON, welcome to the game!! (We have two other GMT people and they'll probably be grateful to add you to their numbers at least, haha.) I'm Marin, one of the mods, and I have four characters:

Sylvester Stoker (

stokers), Coppertale junior, Quidditch captain and Chaser. Sy is a hyper-competitive alpha male douchebag who yells and fights a lot, but he can be kind of fun if you're a really tolerant person??? Sy would consider Ulysses a ~rival Chaser~ which is sufficient reason for Sy to be a POINTLESS DICK to him, and so possibly they've gotten into it before when it comes to getting punched and stuff. OR MAYBE YOU HAVE DIFFERENT THOUGHTS i am all for it

Wilhelmina Tran (

resentfully), Ebonhide senior. Mina is an abrasive drama queen who rules Event Committee with an iron fist; she's more sensitive than she lets on but most people won't ever realize that because Mina doesn't believe in showing weakness. Mina is Cricket's roommate and she actually has some fondness for Uly, because of smothering older sister solidarity with Cricket. She'd be relatively nice to him.

Ravinder Dhaliwal (

paladins), Ribbonfin senior prefect. Ravi tries to be very Nice and Well-Behaved and Responsible and is very protective of people in that scolding older brother way. He's also secretly goofy and very intensely into LARP and fantasy novels. Ravi and Ulysses don't have a whole lot of overlap, so Ulysses would likely know Ravi as kind of killjoy prefect above all else, if he's the troublemaking acting out type.

Micah St. Clair (

auteur), Azurcrest sophomore, Quidditch reserve. Micah is an aspiring film director with abysmal taste in movies; he's excitable, talkative, never seems to take anything seriously, and sometimes has a poor sense of boundaries. He'd be FRIENDLY to Ulysses because he's friendly to everyone, but Uly might find a little grating if he's more of the serious intense type, since Micah behaves in a way that's deliberately shallow and flippant. :|a

POINTLESS DICKERY. I'd love for them to get into scrapes. Sy looks like he's got half a foot and 50 pounds on Ulysses, but he's a scrapper, so it's all good. You know, actually, I kind of feel like Ulysses would be more like Sy if he were bigger/cooler/could generally pull it off, instead of being a bit "these are my awards, mother, from army."

Mina scares me already. I love it.

SIGH, what's with all these BORING prefects. Ravi sounds adorable, but yeah, Ulysses will probably know him as a total bummer who needs to get out more.

Ulysses sometimes likes to pretend he's fun and exciting and Azurcrest-esque, but he's really not, so if they interact a lot, Ulysses will probably pretentiously roll his eyes or something. Whether or not he does that in front of Micah or passive-aggressively waits until he's just around the corner is TBD, lol.
