hello hello
Hey folks, I'm new. My name's Cameron, but since I take it you already have one of those in-game (it was my name first, kid, back off!), feel free to call me any nickname or variation thereof. I apologise in advance for any confusion, lmao. Anyway, I'm 24 and a graduate/professional student. I'm also falling off the wagon after 4-or-so years clean from RP, thanks to a little prodding by JJ. God help me.

I picked up 1 character. This little turdblossom is Ulysses Quayle, Ebonhide junior and baby bro to Cricket. Basically, his shtick is that he was everyone's precious baby angel until he went to boarding school and hit puberty and stuff, and then people stopped finding him cute and his whole world fell apart. Now he's like "WHO AM I" and because he's a teenager, this results in 50% melancholic navel-gazing and 50% Acting Out™. Expect trouble in everything but class, because he's terribly afraid that if he isn't effortlessly succeeding at school, it means he's lost his last identity token ("smart").

So, he's kind of a neurotic brat. Thankfully, he's also pretty charming, loyal to friends and fam, good with creatures (ask him about his blue tongued skink) 'n' kids, and somewhere deep down, a generally good guy. Ulysses is a chaser on the Quidditch team and very into it.

So yeah, that's Ulysses in a nutshell, I guess. Any plots or suggestions would be more than welcomed. I'm excited to play with you guys.

Zoey Valentine (

valentinez), a ribbonfin senior. calm, friendly, frankly super ribbonfinny w some sprinkles of rebellion. she plays chaser for her quidditch team, is in a band w a couple of azurcrests, super super good at potions, kinda brainy/academic, annnnnnd also a wannabe seer (much to the dissatisfaction of her mother). most recently she's been falling back into some overworking tendencies & getting quietly disillusioned w things ;-; she tends to get along w pretty much everyone cos she's so chill ? if she and uly cross paths, she's probably friendly.

then there's Laurel Templeton, this journal -- she's an azurcrest senior, super into drama & theatre & costumes and clothing charms, dancer, nerdy lil bookworm. she's kinda just a silly, straightforward, cheery type who thinks everything is funny and has a hard time taking anything seriously except her sincere interests. she also has an identical twin in ribbonfin (ivy!!), which is fun. she's generally pretty easy to get along with too i think, if a bit of a weirdo. i don't know that she and ulysses have much in common/run into eachother much, but she's all over the place and i'm sure they've had some interaction in the past.

last is MOST RELEVANT, Jonathan Wilde, (

destructobot). in uly's cabin, in uly's year, was at ilvermorny with uly at the same house omg. anywayyy wilde is an aloof, pretentious dude w a competitive streak who likes to write ~secret poetry~ and do sick skateboard tricks/risk his life for the daredevil lulz. reserve keeper for the ebonhide team. hides insecurities under a prickly too-cool too-smart exterior, or at least that is his intention. is actually kind of a good friend if he likes you. i feel like he and ulysses are either BEST FRIENDS or absolutely hate eachother? slash some combination of the two?

thanks, and to you too! today was my friend day back and i'm pretty sure everything i've learned to this point leaked out of my ears over xmas.

also, holy shit. wilde. first of all, bless him, he is exactly the kind of guy i wanted to be when i was like 13. Sick Grinds, Dude. secondly, oh no. oh no. they're gonna be glorious/disastrous. they fit together in the most Teenage ways. i am very excited.
