hello hello
Hey folks, I'm new. My name's Cameron, but since I take it you already have one of those in-game (it was my name first, kid, back off!), feel free to call me any nickname or variation thereof. I apologise in advance for any confusion, lmao. Anyway, I'm 24 and a graduate/professional student. I'm also falling off the wagon after 4-or-so years clean from RP, thanks to a little prodding by JJ. God help me.

I picked up 1 character. This little turdblossom is Ulysses Quayle, Ebonhide junior and baby bro to Cricket. Basically, his shtick is that he was everyone's precious baby angel until he went to boarding school and hit puberty and stuff, and then people stopped finding him cute and his whole world fell apart. Now he's like "WHO AM I" and because he's a teenager, this results in 50% melancholic navel-gazing and 50% Acting Out™. Expect trouble in everything but class, because he's terribly afraid that if he isn't effortlessly succeeding at school, it means he's lost his last identity token ("smart").

So, he's kind of a neurotic brat. Thankfully, he's also pretty charming, loyal to friends and fam, good with creatures (ask him about his blue tongued skink) 'n' kids, and somewhere deep down, a generally good guy. Ulysses is a chaser on the Quidditch team and very into it.

So yeah, that's Ulysses in a nutshell, I guess. Any plots or suggestions would be more than welcomed. I'm excited to play with you guys.

Mackenzie Prince

princeprincess is an Azurcrest junior and cheer captain. She was also in Wampus with Ulysses, and also gets along poorly with Clem, so... terrible friends??? And I do mean terrible, she's a pretty awful person. Kenzie's like if you took a class clown and a mean girl and stuck them in a blender. She loves joking around and teasing, but she gets mean fast. She also flirts a lot with Cricket and they went to the dance together, but that's not going to stop her from flirting with Ulysses, too. She may or may not mean it.

Reid Wainwright

unresponsive is a Coppertale junior, and a Chaser on the Quidditch team. He's incredibly gifted at Quidditch, but has the emotional range of a brick with >:| drawn on it. Last year he was the Seeker, but he was moved from that position because he wasn't motivated enough. He's still not over that. Reid's easy to befriend by anyone who wants to put out the effort, but his whole ice prince act just hides that he's horribly awkward. He can also potentially be up for scuffles and what have you.

Diego Morales

morale is an Azurcrest senior, and one of the pureblood kids, even though he acts more like a pretentious hipster than a blue blood. He's a very talented musician, he's warm, friendly, gentle... and horribly impulsive and self-destructive. If there's a wrong decision to make, Diego is going to make it. He cheated on his ex-gf, Tabitha, last year, and had a social falling out with a lot of people, but he and Cricket are still secretly friendly. He'll want Ulysses to like him so bad, and also he REALLY LOVES LIZARDS AND IS WAY EXCITED ABOUT THAT SKINK.

Rafael Ramirez

firstposition is a Coppertale senior, and a Very Strict Prefect. He's also the son of a prominent Mexican politician, and a famous actress. If Ulysses is acting out, he's crossed paths with Rafael before. Rafael is poised and polite, but also aggressive and a bit abrasive, so even when he's being sweet there's a bit of an edge. He's also dating Leo, Ulysses' Quidditch captain!

Calvin Evercreech

evercreep is a Ribbonfin sophomore, and a Hogwarts exchange student by way of Slytherin. He's a reforming bully who's now at the bottom of the social food chain. He's sharp as a tack and thinks his friends are all saints who can do no wrong, but he's also whiny, abrasive and cranky. He might not run into Ulysses that much. But charming boys are Intimidating so he's going to respond to that with more crankiness.

TERRIBLE FRIENDS! Also, his sister (gasp) went to a dance (gasp) with a girl (gasp). I suspect that Ulysses is worse in Mackenzie's company, which should be absolutely hysterical to write.

Diego and Ulysses would absolutely be a trashcan fire, since Ulysses is also impulsive and is way more likely to make Bad Choices while in the company of others. This should be great. (GET A LOAD OF THAT SKINK!)

Ulysses thinks Rafael is evil, probably. Not really, but he'll loudly moan about how Totally Unfair he is. I suspect that for some reason, deep in his entitled, teenage, squirrel brain, he feels like he should get special treatment because of the dating sitch. I don't know why.

Oh man, I'd love to see how Calvin and Ulysses get along, since I actually think they have a good amount of personality overlap. Except Ulysses isn't on a reforming trajectory yet, haha. They'll probably snipe at each other, which I always enjoy.
