HI GUYS. IT'S ALEX! And for some reason I have been trusted with a fifth character. I don't know what our moms were thinking either, but you might as well get to know him.

SOME FACTS:

Jefferson "Jeffy" Key, Azurcrest Sophomore!

Concept: Excitable sports fanatic loves bad ideas, refuses to learn from past mistakes.

Born and raised in Newark, NJ. SUP NEW YORK AREA-ITES, I'M JOINING THE PARTY. Went to a no-maj school and weekend magic school growing up because his mom is a third grade teacher at a no-maj school, she knows how important learning non-magical social studies is. And also because I needed him to be in a bunch of muggle sports growing up.

His dad is part of the personal security detail for the MACUSA VP, which may or may not have been a contributing factor in me binge-watching Veep yesterday. We may never know.

His dad was also a former almost-pro-football player who got injured out of being a millionaire for sure and has a chip on his shoulder about his kids getting too involved and focused on sports in school. Which is too bad because JEFFY. LOVES. SPORTS. Jeffy is also just a natural athlete. Which is probably why he loves sports. Who doesn't love things that are easy for them?

SO OPTIMISTIC. Thinks everything could be a fun time. Thinks everything could be an ADVENTURE. Is willing to try the same dumb idea 12 times because we don't know for sure that we failed the first 11 times because the idea was inherently flawed.

SO SUSCEPTIBLE TO PEER PRESSURE. you just seemed like you thought it was a really good idea and i wanted to make you happy. :((((

CLASSES: Charms, Herbology, Hermeticism, Transfiguration, History of Magic, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Magizoology

EXTRACURRICULARS: Quidditch (CHASER TEAM, HO!), OE, Gaming, Archery.

Also I'm saying he's still at Goose for the break because I don't have anyone else still at school despite trying to play all of the characters in the game.

ALSO, I got scared and missed literally every intro lately, so I'll briefly mention my other four goddamn characters and if you want to play with them THEY ARE ALSO HERE FOR PLAY!!

Nathaniel (Nate) Bird - Ebonhide Senior, prefect. Intelligent, tightly wound, nonconfrontational, awkward dairy farmer. He's nice. But also, like, serious and quiet. Believe it or not he was supposed to be my most country character.
Riley Stamper - Azurcrest Junior, cheerleader. Catty, ditzy, narcissistic little blue jay who flirts too much and thinks she's the cutest thing to grace the halls of the lodge. Likes to get in fights. Is too dumb and flighty to hold a proper grudge.
Rosemary (Rosy) Stoker - Ribbonfin Junior, prefect. Sarcastic, overprotective mom friend trying to keep her temper and competitive streak under control. Failing horribly. Also Sy Stoker's codependent twin. They are the worst.
Robin Youngblood - Coppertale Senior, resident conspiracy theorist. Paranoid hillbilly from a compound in the wilds of West Virginia. He may not know how to read or write terribly well but he knows how to survive the apocalypse. He yells and swears at everyone before challenging them to a fight, but he generally gives no fucks. A dick, but also kind of a rascal. A rascally dick. That you shouldn't trust.

Nice nice Bc too many people are calling Chris nice (Diego just used the words 'you're a nice guy' to him) So naturally Chris needs to lure an unassuming sophomore into a probably dangerous could be lethal mission for his own personal gain. To make up for this weird rumor that he's nice. Bc he's not. Obviously.

BUT ITS OKAY BC SOLOMON DOESNT KNOW WHAT RIVAL MEANS EITHER they can like fucking congratulate each other after games too

Ahhhhh he's great!

While Lach isn't into sport that certainly doesn't stop him from making friends. Same house and they are both super optimistic so naturally they need to be friends. They will be adorable!

Vic is the same year and they are in classes and archery together. If he's susceptible to peer pressure she might have gone to him for prank help lol. I could see them being friendly at least.

An is a senior Ribbonfin but in OE with him. Not sure what else there is but ya never know.

omg vic get him in trouble, convince him to help you, HE WILL HELP. he just wants everyone to be HAPPY!!

and hey maybe he and an will share a tent at some point. STRANGER THINGS HAVE HAPPENED. i'm not willing to count them out as secret besties yet.

But yeah like there's no way that Jeffy and Micah aren't bros. Same cabin, same Quidditch team, same EGREGIOUS ABUSE OF PUNCTUATION!!!!! Micah's not really big into sports—he's a competent Quidditch player who's mostly playing in order to bond with his dad (which might be an interesting difference for them to talk about?? idk???), but he LOVES being part of a team and he's probably a huge fan of all of Jeffy's accomplishments. Jeffy's literally the coolest guy ever in their dorm. Micah is going to get him killed.

As for the rest of mine, he'll have to know Sy because Sy is the asshole who keeps trying to elbow Jeffy in the face to get the Quaffle. Sy is probably just an asshole to Jeffy, period, even though this sweet blue jay can do no wrong. Keep him away from Sy. I MEAN, DO YOU REALLY WANT MORE SY IN YOUR LIFE, ALEX?

Jeffy wants to hear every one of Micah's movie ideas. And he will think they're all great. And he wants to be in all of them. Is there some stupid dangerous thing Micah wants to try out? OH OKAY JEFFY WILL TRY THAT. They each might think the other is the coolest!!!! but Jeffy thinks most people are the coolest!!!! And also I love that they have like their opposite reasons for being on the Quidditch team. KIDS, YOU MUST BOND OVER THIS.

OK BUT YOU KNOW THE ANSWER TO THAT IS YES, I ALWAYS WANT MORE SY IN MY LIFE, I AM AN ANIMAL.

Quinn SUPER LOVES Jeffy. They were benched together last year (unbreakable bond~) and are crazy for sports. And they're in Azurbest. And Archery. And they're both on academic scholarships. She probably TRIES REAL HARD TO GET HIM TO CALM DOWN (who keeps feeding their cabin pure sugar?!?!?). Alex what this all means is can Quinn treat Jeffy like her very tall little brother, with everything from exasperated "Jeffy, sit the heck down" to giant victory hugs to teasing and whatever else comes with that title.

Kurt's in OE with him and LOVES THE OPTIMISM. Casey's in Gaming with him and thinks he's PRETTY COOL

So guess who totally relates to caving to peer pressure!!!! Diego will love Jesse and think he's a great kid, and then when Diego inevitably leads him to ruin he's going to feel like an awful human being.

Kenzie loves the Azurcrest Quidditch team but I've got this feeling she's not going to be a good influence.

Calvin is a little overwhelmed by him because.... cute friendly boy his age I MEAN IT'S JUST TERRIBLE, FRANKLY, HOW DARE YOU, KEY. However, he's friendly with all the sophomore Azurcrest girls and he and Micah are... getting there. So by this point he's probably not screaming inside whenever he has to speak to Jeffy.

Reid is a rival chaser and can be easily replaced by a scowling mannequin!

Rafael has probably been the stern prefect to Jeffy's Azurcrest antics before.

Jeffy thinks Diego is one of the five coolest people he knows. Jeffy is happily skipping down that path to destruction, YOU COULDN'T STOP HIM IF YOU TRIED. ....ok you could probably stop him if you tried but between Diego and Kenzie and honestly ALL OF AZURCREST clearly there are a lot of bad influences here and he doesn't stand a chance.

he is also oblivious to any potential internal screaming on Calvin's part. HEY DUDE YOU'RE REE'S FRIEND DOESN'T THAT MEAN WE SHOULD BE FRIENDS TOO???

He will still admire Reid's quidditch skills. I don't think he knows how to be properly competitive.

AND HE'S SORRY RAF. HE WON'T DO IT AGAIN. he'll probably do it again don't tell Quinn she'll be so disappointed.

But ok I will talk about Jeffy now BECAUSE HE LOOKS SO GREAT!!! Addy would obvi have a lot to do with him! She is also awful at bad ideas and will encourage so many bad choices. She will think he's precious af and will be protective when she sees bad decisions that she's not part of being made. That apparently happens.

Leo played toooons of sports as a child!! And plays Quidditch now! Leo is from NJ! MAYBE THEY MET ON OTHER PLAYING FIELDS BEFORE GOOSEBERRY!

Ferdie has probably given Jeffy More than One Stern Talk before this day.

By which I mean, HI FRANKIE IS IN HIS HOUSE. And year. And stuff. And will 100% love him. And be chirpily stoked about his height. Don't slouch! It suits you! Seriously, look! We look ridiculous standing next to each other - it's great!

And Bash's mom also works for MACUSA in NYC - so they can know each other via that sort of thing! And since his dad's a no-maj his parents totally agree on the Learn Calculus, Young Man front.
