MEME: Dog Breeds

My favourite game to play at the bar is "What breed of dog would you be?" where I determine what breed of dog my friends would be based on my comprehensive and pointless knowledge of everything canine. Real people are not enough and I'm mad with power, so I want to do this for your characters! And, like, other people can also give input. I guess.

Yes, this meme is completely self-indulgent.

Fill out the form and I'll tell you what kind of dog I think they would be if they were a dog! WIN-WIN. (I'll post an example with Kurt.) Disclaimer: Most of these will probably be bigger dog breeds because they're what I know best. Sorry not sorry for the bias, big dogs are the bomb.

Social Disposition: Nobody is a stranger to Vee for long. She loves everyone, welcomes everyone, embraces everyone as if they've been friends forever. It's true that she has a core group she feels even more strongly about, but she treats everyone with kindness and exuberance.
Independence: Vee is very complicated on this front. She can take care of herself, she is a leader, she takes care of others, etc etc. But she also loves having people take care of her and helping her, even if she doesn't always ask for it. She likes knowing they care, really, and relishes the break honestly.
Loyalty: Vee is fiercely loyal. She's not overly aggressive, but she will protect those she cares for without a second thought. She will also stand up for them where she might not for herself, and the quickest way to bring out her seemingly absent temper is to mess with someone she loves or who she feels doesn't deserve.
New Situations: Vee looks at new situations as an opportunity to learn and experience something new. She takes the situation head-on, with excitement and optimism.
Energy/Play: Wow. How to describe Vee's energy. It's endless. She is always upbeat, always ready to go, always handy with a pep talk or an inspirational speech. She goes a mile a minute, all smiles, and can pop back up instantly even if she's exhausted if it seems someone she loves needs her.
Fears: Failure. Not being enough. Looking stupid. Spiders.
Environment: Anywhere there's people. She is a true extrovert, and being around people energizes her and makes her feel better. She can exist without people around, but she doesn't prefer it.
Mantra: There is no such thing as can't.

	When Vee is scared or uncomfortable or anything negative, she internalizes it until she ultimately breaks down (privately) at some random part. She'll never let it show to anyone else. (Reply to this) (Parent)

Vee is a Golden Retriever!
- A Golden will do whatever it can to help its humans be their happiest selves.
- They are notoriously selfless, but also playful and silly.
- As hunting dogs, they have a limitless reserve of energy. Unlike some others (like many hounds), though, they're usuallyable to chill out when quiet companionship is needed.
- They love fun!!!
- Goldens are very emotionally intuitive, and as a result often serve as therapy dogs, service dogs, or emotional support animals.
- Much like Vee, strangers are just NEW FRIENDS!!!

	My family's last dog, who passed away about a year ago (that big black beauty is only like 10mos old), was a part lab part golden retriever. SWEETEST dog ever. I totally thought Vee would fit as a golden because she's a lot like he was. (I have pics but not sure if doggies who have gone over the bridge count for sharing lol) (Reply to this) (Parent)
