MEME: Dog Breeds

My favourite game to play at the bar is "What breed of dog would you be?" where I determine what breed of dog my friends would be based on my comprehensive and pointless knowledge of everything canine. Real people are not enough and I'm mad with power, so I want to do this for your characters! And, like, other people can also give input. I guess.

Yes, this meme is completely self-indulgent.

Fill out the form and I'll tell you what kind of dog I think they would be if they were a dog! WIN-WIN. (I'll post an example with Kurt.) Disclaimer: Most of these will probably be bigger dog breeds because they're what I know best. Sorry not sorry for the bias, big dogs are the bomb.

Name:
House:
Profile: Link me.
Social Disposition: How do they act towards strangers? To friends? What are they like in different social situations? Do they have a large group of friends, or perhaps a select few that they're close with, or even no friends?
Independence: Are they needy? Stoic? Indifferent until they need something, or perhaps willing to help others but never to ask for help?
Loyalty: Are they a friend to the end? Selectively devoted? Flighty?
New Situations: How do they approach new situations?
Energy/Play: How energetic are they? Are they selectively hyper, or are they stuck on 'Energizer Bunny?' How do they like to shake off all that excess spirit? What are they like when they're in a feisty/playful mood?
Fears: What are they afraid of? How do they respond?
Environment: Where are they happiest? Ex. outdoors, running around, by a fireplace with a good book, at a party
Mantra: Optional. Are there any words your character lives by?
Other: Optional. Anything else I/we should know?
A Cute Gif of Your Character: Optional. If you have one gif you would like to share, we would like to see that one gif. I will also accept dog gifs.

Name: Diego Morales
House: Azurcrest
Profile: Link me.
Social Disposition: Warm, friendly and very attentive. Diego loves small groups best, does well in large groups... and then gets nervous in big loud crowds. We're talking like peak season Disney crowds, though, nothing at Gooseberry really gets to him. Diego has a large circle of friends, but tends to pick a very small number of them that he's especially attached to. He hates being alone. Although friendly and extroverted, Diego's suuuuper neurotic and has high functioning anxiety, which means he rarely feels 100% comfortable with anyone or anything. Tends towards being pretty moody and melancholic at his core.
Independence: So needy. Diego's kind of an emotional vampire. He's high maintenance because he doesn't function happily alone, and needs lots of reassurance. There's always a new crisis, and he always needs it to be taken seriously. He gives as much as he takes but it's a lot of emotional labor to be genuinely close to him.
Loyalty: Devoted in theory. He's weak willed and can be pushed around by stronger personalities, not to mention that impulsive, dangerously self-destructive streak, but there are a small few that he'll pull his shit together for.
New Situations: JUST FUCKING JUMPS IN. Diego doesn't think about consequences until about an hour after he's done the thing. He's incredibly open minded and loves trying new things.
Energy/Play: Very energetic and playful. Loves banter as well as physical play.
Fears: Social rejection. That he's annoying/shallow/stupid/a terrible person/etc. and soon everyone will realize that and leave him. Cars. Traffic. Huge crowds. He responds to fear by getting increasingly high strung, followed by lots of melancholy. Having someone he trusts to talk him through it helps a lot, though.
Environment: Diego's pretty flexible. He loves being outdoors and he's very athletic, but he's also content hanging out indoors with the right people. As long as he's not alone, he's probably going to be alright.
Mantra: Stop being weird.
Other: ilu

PRETTY GOOD, even if they make him nervous until he figures out where they stand. He prefers to stick with people he knows if given a choice, but he's easy to befriend and doesn't avoid strangers. Being with strangers > being alone. I HOPE THAT HELPS.

Diego is an English Setter!
- Owners should not be heavy-handed with English Setters.
- They don't do well left on their own for long periods of time, and tend to become destructive if they are.
- Extremely friendly and affectionate-to-cuddly with their pack.
- While they thrive in the outdoors, if their pack is inside then that's where they want to be.
- Their temperament is extremely influenced by their surroundings.
- NOTE: There are two kinds of English Setters - the working line (very high energy, more vigorous in everything they do) and the show line (more like a companion.) I see Diego as the latter.

& Diego's runner-up breed was the same as Levi's family's dog, a Tibetan Spaniel!

They're all freckled!! They also come in black freckles. I'm sure that's the technical term.

TY. It's a silly thing. My first word was "dog" and literally nothing has changed since, except I'm a few inches taller and now I know a lot more about Star Trek.

This is a good time to mention that my chihuahua mix is also Diego. He's Diego as fuck. He's cute and sweet and kinda acts like a dumbass and fucks up all the time but DOESN'T SEEM TO LEARN?

And also he's a love sponge. Or a love abyss? Love landfill? Idk. I'VE BEEN CALLING HIM DIEGO DOG FOR LIKE 2 MONTHS.
